Drew’s blog, full of things that fall out of his brain and onto the keyboard.

Thoutons (pronounced thought-ons) are the indivisible packets of thought. Thoutons are subject to practical/rave duality (in that they can be regarded as practical or can be raved about, but only one at a time). Due to the antics of quantum mavericks it’s impossible to know both where a thouton came from and when it arrived. Thoutons can’t be seen, however they can be measured indirectly with a spider counter (so called because it does not count spiders). Thoutons are quantised in “Daves” where one Dave is equivalent to the number of thoutons needed to move 1 millipede 1 millimetre in one milliminute.

Thoutons have no resting mass; in other words when thoutons aren’t moved around they effectively cease to exist.
